We find, this articles are VERY, VERY well. You always find a long list of literature. You can find all the topics which are important. The IAQ List is a moderated forum to discuss issues and concerns regarding " Indoor Air Quality". A variety of compounds, elements & conditions can pollute & contaminate the indoor air quality of a home, office or building from molds and bioaerosols to combustion by-products like carbon monoxide, soot, PAHs & VOCs - many can cause serious health concerns and, in some cases, extensive property damage. This list addresses the identification and mitigation of contaminants. The IAQ Listserve subscribers consist of highly qualified individuals in IAQ consulting, environmental health, toxicology, science & research, H/VAC engineering , industrial hygiene, risk management, recovery & restoration, insurance, medicine & law. The posts are usually not so numerous to be burdensome; however, when subscribing, the "Digest" option is provided if you prefer to receive posts in one e-mail. There is no advertising involved or permitted on the list - only a growing group of professionals interested in addressing IAQ concerns & solutions. To Subscribe go to: http://www.onelist.com/subscribe.cgi/iaq CONS-SPST-BIOTECH-FORUM. It will be focusing on how the new "gene splicing" technologies will affect farmers, what corporations are doing, how much of the shared genetic heritage of earth is being privatized by means of patents, and how great are the social and environmental costs. In a world in which risk is always present, it will be looking to make sure that the equation isn't private profit, public risk. It will attempt to post links to other informational sites which could be of help to activists, and a sampling of opinions, not all pointed in the same direction, to promote thoughtful debate. The Biotech Forum is sponsored by the Sustainable Planet Strategy Team. It's editors are the members of the Biotech Task Force which was established in May 1999. (I'm one of 11 editors, one of the listowners.) As with other Club lists, the way to find out how to subscribe is to write to LISTSERV@SIERRACLUB.ORG and in the message you write INFO CONS-SPST-BIOTECH-FORUM which will tell you. Please keep that in mind in case the instructions below don't work for you: 1. You need your Sierra Club membership number for this one. If you've recycled your Club card, look around for a mailing label from Yodeler or Sierra. 2. Write to LISTGUARD@SIERRACLUB.ORG 3. In the subject line you put your 8 digit membership number, nothing else 4. In the body of the message, you write SUB CONS-SPST-BIOTECH-FORUM your name (your real name, not e-mail address) (Note: your subscription will be from the E-mail address you used to send the message.) Watch out for typos, especially how to spell "LISTGUARD." Check it out or tell someone who may be interested.
